Raiffeisen Leasing Bulgaria, a leasing business 75.5%-owned by Vienna-based Raiffeisen Leasing International, said it has started marketing to foreign nationals a leasing program for the purchase of residential or office properties in Bulgaria.
The lease purchase is available for a maximum term of 15 years with a 30-40% co-payment from the property buyer.
A grace period of up to 12 years will be available to buyers of properties in rough construction.
The banking sector is also trying to hitch onto the second-home market.
Latvian Trasta komercbanka recently announced it is opening a representative office in Bulgarian Black Sea resort Sunny Beach.
Trasta said the principal tasks of the new office will be provision of support to the businesses of the banks customers in this region and for investments in the real estate located in Bulgaria
